The JFM band provided the music for a private corporate Christmas party on December 13th at the Chateau Briand on L. I. It was a spectacular party, flavored with hostesses dressed as Santa's helpers, celebrity performances including a happy birthday serenade for the host by a Marilyn Monroe impersonator. The star-studded event was enhanced by the music of JFM!!!

Eventful Web Tool Helps Fans Route Tours Their Way
Booking agents and managers are embracing a new Web tool to identify potential live markets for their artists.
A free service dubbed Demand, from Eventful.com, is enabling fans to request that specific acts perform in their local markets. The Demand tool is added to artists' Web pages such as personal Web sites and MySpace pages and allows fans to voice their opinion by clicking and "demanding" a performance. Tallies for all requests are displayed on Eventful's Web site.

In a direct challenge to Apple’s iTunes, MySpace has announced its intention to sell songs from the 3 million unsigned bands on MySpace.com. Even more surprising: the songs will be sold as unprotected MP3s, free from DRM. MySpace co-founder Chris DeWolfe told Reuters: “Everyone we’ve spoken to definitely wants an alternative to iTunes and the iPod. MySpace could be that alternative.”
